Site Resource

Location

Riparian Preserve
2757 E. Guadalupe Road
Gilbert

The 110 acre Riparian Preserve offers students access to a wide variety of environmental studies. Our unique setting provides opportunities to participate in fun and educational experiences not possible in the classroom.

All activities at the Preserve are correlated to the current Arizona State Standards and are cross-curricular in their approach.  Research shows that connecting children with their natural world improves academic learning, as well as providing benefits to emotional well-being.  By offering outdoor programming for students, the Riparian Institute is supporting Arizona’s schools in developing environmentally literate citizens of our future.
