Next Steps After Submitting Your Application to Join the AAEE Board of Directors
Once the Executive Committee has reviewed your application, a member of the current AAEE Executive Team will contact you via email or phone to set up your one-on-one meeting, which will be held either in-person or by phone prior to new AAEE Board Member elections in December.
Elections for new AAEE Board Members are conducted in December each calendar year and new terms will begin in January of the next calendar year.
Our Annual AAEE Board of Directors Retreat is generally held Friday evening through Sunday afternoon during either the third or fourth weekend of the January at Camp Tontozona, AZ each year to welcome all new AAEE Board Members and to provide an orientation. Our Annual AAEE Board of Directors Retreat is considered one of our required annual AAEE Board of Directors meetings, and it is highly recommended that all new AAEE Board Members participate.
